Admissions

Welcome to our School
Admissions Policy

Our intake for September 2024 is 60 children. There is no guarantee of a place for children living in the priority admissions area.

In the event of oversubscription places will be allocated using the following criteria in the order given:

  1. Looked After Children and previously looked after children.
  2. Children with a sibling attending the school or the partner Junior school;
  3. Children living in the priority admission area;
  4. Remaining applications.

In the event of over-subscription within any of the above criteria, priority will be determined by straight line distance from home to school, those living closest being given the highest priority.

Admission appeals to be directed to Planning and Admissions at Essex County Council on 0345 6032200.

Exceptional medical circumstances (supported by medical evidence) may override the above criteria (other than Looked After Children.)

A parent or carer of a primary age child can request the the school delay or defer their child's entry to reception. Please view our admissions policy HERE which includes the process for requesting admission outside the normal age group.

If your child is due to start school in September 2024 you will be required to make an application to Essex County Council Planning and Admissions.
