Uniform

Uniform

Children are expected to attend school in uniform. Our uniform is affordable and can be purchased from School Wear Plus, Unit 1, The Bringy Centre, Church Street, Great Baddow, Chelmsford (01245 491170).

Our school colour is royal blue. Trousers, shorts, skirts and pinafores are coloured grey. Shirts/polo tops are white. Girls may wear dresses in the summer term with royal blue checks. Our jumpers and polo tops have the logo stitched on but you may also wear plain royal blue jumpers or plain white polo tops.

School book bags can also be purchased from School Wear Plus. We recommend children have one small keyring on their book bag so they can easily identify it.

School shoes should be plain black. We recommend velcro until children are able to tie their own laces or do up their own buckles .

Our PE kit consists of royal blue shorts, white crew neck t-shirt and trainers. A navy tracksuit is required for PE in the winter months. Children should come to school in PE kit on Activewear days. PE t-shirts can have the logo on or be plain white.

The PSA sell secondhand uniform. Dates of their sales will be advertised to parents.
If you would like to enquire if the PSA have items in your child's size they can be reached at psa@baddowhall-inf.essex.sch.uk.

Please note:
Long hair should always be tied back and only a small blue bow or hair slide as a hair accessory.
Nail varnish should not be worn in school, or any other makeup or colorful hair dye.

Jewellery

Please ensure that earrings are removed for PE days. If your child does come to school on a PE day wearing earrings they will need to remove these themselves. If they are unable to then a parent will be called to come and remove them. Only stud earrings are permitted in school. No other jewellery should be worn. If your child is able to tell the time, they may wear a wristwatch. (Smart watches are not permitted). This must be removed when they have PE.

Water Bottles
We ask each child brings a filled water bottle to school each day that is clearly named. Children will be able to refill water bottles in school. Water bottles should be of reasonable size so as to be able to fit on the trolley in class. We please ask that your child does not have water bottles that can spray water.

Please ensure that every item of uniform is clearly labelled with your child's name, including bags, lunch boxes, coats, hats and water bottles.
